The United States military department has decided to further expand cooperation with the Ukrainian defense sector by placing an order for the supply of 1320 F10 strike FPV drones. This procurement is being carried out within the framework of the large-scale American Drone Dominance initiative, which is implemented in the interests of the Pentagon to supply units with advanced unmanned systems. The achieved result allowed the Ukrainian development company to take a respectable second place in terms of additional contract volumes among all participants in the first stage of the prestigious program.
Contract Significance and Quality Standards
The management of the manufacturing company regards such a high figure and additional demand from the American side as an undeniable confirmation that Ukrainian drones fully comply with the strictest global standards of quality, reliability, and efficiency. Developer representatives note that the enterprise's current production capacities make it possible to fulfill additional export obligations without any difficulty, without creating a deficit or harming stable equipment supplies for the needs of defense forces on the front lines. The schedule for fulfilling the current order provides for the full shipment of the batch of F10 drones by the end of November of the current year.
Export Procedures and Localization Plans
Commenting on the implementation process of the agreement, company CEO Stanislav Khutor stressed that the enterprise is currently successfully passing all necessary state export procedures and approvals. It is expected that the necessary permit documents from Ukrainian agencies will be received within the established timeframe, which guarantees the fulfillment of contractual obligations without delays. The company's strategic plans also include a transition to a model of direct technology licensing and organizing the assembly of drones directly on the territory of the United States through an official representative in the American market—UDD Tech Corp.
Contradictory Data
When covering the parameters of Ukrainian developers' participation in the Drone Dominance program, some discrepancies arise regarding the final positions of companies in the ratings. Thus, in official reports following the results of the first stage of the competition, the F10 model reached the final, taking sixth place with a result of 72.9 points out of 100 possible, while the fiber-optic drone Shrike 10 Fiber from the SkyFall company was recognized as the winner of the stage. However, in terms of total volumes of additional contracts placed by the Pentagon, F-Drones secured precisely the second position, which emphasizes the scale of the ordered equipment.
Background and Technological Breakthrough
It is worth recalling that the F10 unmanned aerial vehicle went down in history as the first Ukrainian drone to officially receive an export permit for supplies to the United States. Back in July of the current year, the American military received the first batch of 2000 such devices within the Drone Dominance program. The modification supplied to the Pentagon was specially adapted on the basis of a combat system that has been successfully used by Ukrainian defenders at the front since 2024, confirming its high combat effectiveness in real conditions of a modern armed conflict.
