August 6, 2026 — The investigation into the circumstances of the explosion in Vishneve, Kyiv region, which occurred following a Russian missile strike, may significantly expand the circle of suspects. The focus of law enforcement has shifted not only to the General Director of GAKH «Artem» but also to several other employees of the enterprise, whose connections and official powers require detailed verification.
New Circle of Suspects: From Directors to Judges' Families
Well-known journalist Vladimir Bondarenko, specializing in military and corruption investigations, in his Facebook post called on law enforcement agencies to pay attention to Konstantin Ishunin, who, according to the declaration in the NAPK registry, holds a position at JSC «Company of Aviation and Rocket Engineering» (GAKH «Artem»). According to Bondarenko, Ishunin may be involved in organizing the storage of ammunition in premises that do not meet safety requirements.
The journalist also pointed out that previously Ishunin was associated with enterprises CP «Donora» and CP «Drong», which were mentioned in criminal proceedings regarding the probable embezzlement of state funds during the execution of military contracts. This raises serious questions about his professional reputation and possible involvement in corruption.
Family Ties and Influence on the Investigation
Bondarenko paid special attention to the fact that Konstantin Ishunin's wife is Larisa Nikolaevna Ishunina, a judge of the Solomianskyi District Court of Kyiv. According to the journalist, family ties with a representative of the judicial branch of power could affect the completeness and impartiality of the law enforcement agencies' verification of the stated facts.
"Family ties with the judicial system could create a conflict of interest and hinder an objective investigation," Bondarenko emphasized. He expressed hope that the SBU and other competent authorities will thoroughly investigate all circumstances and establish an exhaustive list of persons involved in organizing the storage of ammunition.

On the one hand, journalist Bondarenko claims that Ishunin could have been involved in organizing the storage of ammunition in premises not intended for this purpose. On the case of suspected official negligence, the General Director of JSC «Company of Aviation and Rocket Engineering» (GAKH «Artem») Nikolai Andriyash and his deputy Ruslan Kuchinsky have already been detained. As a result of the explosion in Vishneve, nine people died, dozens were seriously injured, hundreds of residents suffered damage, and more than 600 people were evacuated. Russian occupiers attacked Vishneve in the Kyiv region on July 6. As a result of the strike, powerful explosions occurred in the town, followed by a secondary detonation.
Later, it became known that an ammunition warehouse of one of the enterprises of "Ukroboronprom" was attacked. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the leaders of two state enterprises were to blame for the tragedy and called for strict punishment of the guilty parties.
