According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, over the past day and into the night of August 31, 2026, the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out a series of strikes on Russian military objects in several Russian regions and on temporarily occupied territories. Targets hit included air defense systems, command-and-staff vehicles, communications nodes, drone control points, as well as materiel and technical bases. Strikes on Air Defense and Command Posts in Bryansk and Belgorod Regions

The statement provides the most detailed account of the results of strikes in Russia's Bryansk region. There, according to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, an enemy radar station in Desnyansky was hit, and in the area of Ploskobukreyevka — a command-and-staff vehicle from the S-400 Triumf air defense missile system. In addition, in Belgorod region, the General Staff announced the destruction of a communications node of an occupying unit in the settlement of Zimovnoye.

Southern Direction and Crimea: Drone Control Points and Depots

On the southern direction, in the area of Hulyaipole in Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian military managed to hit a control point for enemy drones. In parallel, strikes were delivered on the materiel and technical bases of the Russian army: in particular, depots of the occupiers' materiel and technical supplies were hit in the settlement of Kir-Bailar on the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea. In addition to direct strikes on military objects, attacks on logistics infrastructure in the rear have been recorded over the past day. On the morning of August 31, drones attacked the Wildberries logistics center in Yekaterinburg: after drones hit the facility and their debris fell on the site, a fire broke out. Earlier, in Belgorod, the "Estate Logistic" logistics warehouses caught fire after explosions — according to preliminary information, the fire resulted from a missile strike.
