Ukrainian defense forces carried out a series of strikes on military facilities of the Russian occupiers in temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as in the Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia regions, on September 6 and during the night of September 7. This was announced by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as reported by RBC-Ukraine. Among the targets hit were a key logistics hub, command posts of Russian units, and an ammunition depot. According to the agency, the final extent of the damage is being assessed.
Strikes on logistics in Crimea
The key target of the operation was the area of Vladyslavivka in temporarily occupied Crimea, where Ukrainian military forces struck a railway bridge over the North Crimean Canal. According to the General Staff, the occupiers actively use this facility for military logistics, making it a blow to the supply chain. In addition, positions of the automated technical reconnaissance post "Grenadier" were hit in Perekop on the peninsula.
Command posts and depots in Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia regions
In parallel, the defenders struck command posts of Russian units in the settlements of Nizhnyy Nagolchik and Dolzhanske in the Luhansk region, as well as in Azov in the Zaporizhzhia region. An ammunition depot of the occupiers in the area of the settlement of Teploe in the Luhansk region was also hit. The combination of such targets indicates that the strikes are aimed at destroying the enemy's command-and-staff structure and material-technical support.
Widespread use of drones
Against the backdrop of these operations, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukrainian drones struck three Russian oil refineries, a storage and launch site for strike drones, and a target in the Black Sea. Separately, during the night of September 6, the defense forces struck the "Rostov-on-Don" airport, after which, according to Ukrainian military personnel, a fire broke out at the enemy airfield. These statements point to an expansion of the geography and range of targets being hit by remote-strike means.

When cross-checking the versions, a discrepancy arises in the location of the railway bridge. The main General Staff statement and the RBC-Ukraine materials refer to a bridge over the North Crimean Canal in the Vladyslavivka area (Crimea). However, in the headline of a ZN.ua article, the same type of target — a railway bridge — is tied to the Zaporizhzhia region. It is possible that two different facilities were hit during the same series of strikes, or that there is an inaccuracy in the wording; until clarification, both versions remain under consideration. The General Staff also emphasizes that the final volume of damage to all targets has not yet been established, so specific loss figures are not yet being published.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that the final extent of the damage inflicted on the enemy is currently being assessed. This means that the fact of the targets being hit has been confirmed, but their technical condition and the consequences for the occupiers' logistics and command will be evaluated additionally.
