Ukraine is on high alert for a possible large-scale attack. The country's President, Volodymyr Zelensky, has voiced alarming intelligence data indicating that Russia has already prepared a missile arsenal for a new massive strike on Ukrainian territory. The attack is expected to occur within the next 48 hours.
Threat of a massive strike
Information about the impending aggression came from Ukrainian intelligence services and their Western partners. The head of state emphasized that preliminary data suggests that missile launches could happen as early as today or in the immediate future. In light of this, Zelensky urged citizens to exercise maximum vigilance, strictly adhere to safety rules, and under no circumstances ignore air raid sirens.
Priority need for air defense
In his address, the President drew attention to the critical importance of international support. He stated that Ukraine relies on understanding from its allies, but emphasized one key issue. The first and foremost priority for aid to Kyiv at this moment is the delivery of air defense systems (ADS).
Zelensky called for the prompt implementation of all previously reached agreements. He stressed that Ukrainian diplomacy must act faster, and the country's needs for protection must be heard louder on the world stage, as this is a matter of saving human lives.
Global awareness of the situation
Despite the tension, the head of state noted a positive shift in the perception of the situation abroad. According to him, key partner countries are increasingly realizing the real state of affairs in Ukraine. The international community is beginning to understand the true scale of Russian strikes and the fact that Moscow is intentionally prolonging the conflict.
