Double reconnaissance loop: how NATO aircraft operated simultaneously over the Black Sea and the Baltic
The analytical channel Coffee Report reported on the synchronized operation of NATO reconnaissance aviation on August 23: ARTEMIS II was operating over the Black Sea south of Crimea, while the E-3 AWACS was over the Baltic and Central Europe. The operations are cyclical in nature and, according to assessments, are linked to monitoring Russian military activity.
