Ukrainian energy workers have restored the external power supply to the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP, which had been disconnected from the Unified Energy System since August 20. The plant is again connected to the grid, with its consumption at 11 MW.

On August 18, 2026, a mass internet outage occurred in Russia, affecting most regions. The cause was power supply interruptions at a communication node, which led to the shutdown of numerous services.
