Volodymyr Zhuravlov, suspected of blowing up the Nord Stream pipelines, has requested political asylum in Croatia due to distrust of the German court.

A Croatian court in Pula has decided to extradite Ukrainian Vladimir Zhuravlev to Germany in the Nord Stream sabotage case. The defense is preparing an appeal, while the suspect himself intends to declare an indefinite hunger strike.
