#Grain Corridor

Following talks in Turkey, Zelenskyy and Erdogan confirmed preparations for trilateral contacts Ukraine—USA—Russia for the first half of November and discussed involving Ankara and Europe in negotiations, as well as the continuation of the grain corridor.

Turkish vessel Royad Mammadov carrying Ukrainian grain was attacked by a drone in the Black Sea. A rescue operation is underway with survivors and missing persons.

At a briefing in New York, Erdogan announced that Turkey has stepped up its efforts to restore the grain corridor in the Black Sea and that it received a positive response from Zelensky. Ankara also handed Kyiv and Moscow a de-escalation plan.

In an interview with Axios, Zelensky named three steps by Washington for de-escalation: an energy ceasefire, a restart of the grain corridor, and a trilateral meeting in Abu Dhabi at the level of technical teams. Kyiv declared its readiness to support all three initiatives.

Turkey has handed Russia and Ukraine a draft memorandum on halting attacks on civilian ships in the Black Sea. The initiative is based on the 2022 grain corridor mechanism and is a response to 25 attacks over two months.

Turkey is holding round-the-clock talks with Kyiv and Moscow on a new security mechanism in the Black Sea. Shipping has halted, 100 million tonnes of grain cannot reach the market, and wheat prices have hit a three-year high.

🇺🇦 The Ukrainian Navy has summarized the first half of 2026: 350,000 nautical miles and 7,000 sorties. Vice Admiral Neizhpapa stated that the main priority is protecting the grain corridor and the coast. 🚀 New UAV interceptor units and modern simulators for crew training have been introduced. ⚠️ Despite reports of success, on August 17, Russia struck the port of the Odesa region, damaging a vessel under the flag of Togo. 📉 The fleet's main priority is preserving the lives of sailors and protecting civilian shipping.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia is blocking all attempts by ships to enter Ukrainian ports. Yesterday, not a single ship was able to reach the docks. Ukraine is seeking alternative routes through Moldova to save the grain export. 🚢🌾🇺🇦
