Russian intelligence services (IPO, GRU, FSB) are conducting Operation 'Postman': in June–July 2026, more than 500 fake complaints in the name of fictitious and real citizens were sent to Ukrainian government agencies, with the aim of creating bureaucratic load and discrediting 17 military units.

RBC-Ukraine has revealed the Russian operation "Postman": since May 2026, Ukrainian government bodies have been receiving a mass of fabricated complaints created on the basis of stolen personal data of citizens. According to the outlet, the operation involves IPO units, the GRU, and the FSB.

Janne Jaakkola, Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, stated that Russia, mired in the war with Ukraine, is intensifying information pressure on the West, while Helsinki does not detect a direct military threat, but the buildup of border infrastructure has continued since 2022.

Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, acknowledged that he had underestimated the information campaigns against the "Wall" project on the border with Russia, comparing the literal perception of the name to the idea of an "Iron Dome" made of iron.
