FIBA has partially eased restrictions on representatives of Russia and Belarus, based on updated IOC recommendations. National teams and clubs remain under a full ban.

Ukraine has filed a lawsuit with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) against the IOC's decision to restore ROC rights. The NOC of Ukraine believes that the IOC is ignoring the violation of the country's territorial integrity and the illegal inclusion of occupied territories in the structure of Russian sports. 🇺🇦⚖️🏅
