NADPU has opposed the 30% hike in Ukrzaliznytsia's freight tariffs, warning of risks to exports, tax revenue, and GDP. The association proposes indexation of no more than 5–14% and financing of the passenger segment from the budget through PSO.

NADPU proposes extending the €180-per-tonne duty to all scrap metal exports, including the EU, after the zero quota expires. According to the association's estimate, "grey" schemes through Poland cost the budget more than 3 billion hryvnias.
