On October 17, cloudy weather with clear intervals is expected in Ukraine, with short-term rains in the southern and southeastern regions. Daytime temperatures will reach 13–21 degrees, and locally 8–13 in the west.

UkrGMs has published its assessment of Ukraine's river water levels for August 2026: low-water conditions intensified in a number of basins, and on the Stokhody River near Liubeshiv the runoff ceased entirely from 5 August.

A weather front from the Balkans will bring rain and thunderstorms to the central regions, Zakarpattia, Bukovyna, and the south of the country. The rest of the territory will remain under the influence of an anticyclone with no precipitation.
