The specified 75% discount applies not only to standard housing and communal services, such as building maintenance, water supply, drainage, gas, and electricity supply, but also to the purchase of solid and stove household fuel. In addition, the benefit can extend to family members of the combat participant who are registered and live with them in the same living quarters.

It is important to note that state support is provided strictly within the established social standards of heated area. The basic calculation provides for 21 square meters of total housing area per person entitled to the benefit and permanently residing in the premises, plus an additional 10.5 square meters for the entire family. For disabled families of war veterans who use natural gas for individual heating, increased standards apply — up to 42 square meters per beneficiary and 21 square meters per family.
