In Ukraine, the procedure for booking employees from mobilization through the state portal 'Diia' may be suspended. This decision is directly related to the update of the rules for granting critical status to enterprises. According to information received from an RBC-Ukraine source, the issue of temporarily stopping the service has already been considered at the level of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.

Restriction options and deadlines

At the moment, an official announcement on the introduction of restrictions is expected. Sources note that the final format of the suspension is still being discussed. In particular, two main scenarios are being considered: either the possibility of submitting applications will be closed only for those companies that have not yet confirmed their criticality under the new rules, or access to the service will be restricted for all businesses at once.

The approximate date for the start of the pause is September 1. If the decision comes into force, all applications that are in the processing stage will be processed to the end. However, businesses will not be able to submit new applications for booking.

New criticality criteria

The possibility of booking is planned to be restored gradually, but only for those enterprises that will be able to reconfirm their criticality according to the updated criteria. Re-booking of employees may also become available exclusively for companies that have undergone this procedure.

At the end of May, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine updated the booking rules and instructed the responsible authorities to review the criteria for granting criticality. One of the key changes was an increase in requirements for the average salary of employees. Businesses were given a deadline until September 1 to adapt to the new conditions.

Companies that fail to reconfirm criticality within the specified period will lose this status, and their employees will automatically lose protection from mobilization.

Government position

Minister of Economy Alexey Sobolev previously explained the need to review the booking rules. According to him, this is a regular process aimed at updating data and meeting the current needs of the economy and the country's defense.
