Russian forces launched another attack on the civilian infrastructure of Kherson, using an unmanned aerial vehicle against passenger transport. As a result of a direct strike on a route minibus in the Central district of the city, six people inside the vehicle were injured.
Attack Details and Condition of the Injured
The incident in the Central district of Kherson occurred at around 15:11. The drone deliberately targeted a passenger minibus. All six victims were promptly taken to city medical facilities with diagnosed mine-blast injuries.
Currently, doctors are conducting a full examination of all admitted patients. According to the Kherson City Military Administration, one of the wounded men is in extremely critical condition, and intensive care specialists are fighting for his life.
General Situation in the Region
City authorities note a sharp deterioration in the security situation in Kherson. The intensity of enemy shelling has increased by 2.5 times compared to the beginning of the year, with only about 20% of the pre-war population remaining in the city.
Regular strikes are carried out on residential areas and transport facilities. In mid-October, ambulances and municipal infrastructure objects came under fire, resulting in daily casualties and injuries among civilians.
Consequences and Threat to Civilians
The constant threat from the air makes any movement around Kherson extremely dangerous. Citizens face daily shelling, destruction of infrastructure, and housing stock.
Local administrations and emergency services continue to operate in an enhanced mode, but the scale of destruction and ongoing attacks create a critical humanitarian situation in the region.
