As of Wednesday, September 23, 2026, the fuel market in Ukraine has entered a phase of stabilization after a notable price spike recorded at the beginning of the week. None of the major gas station chains changed fuel prices compared to the previous day: price tags for gasoline, diesel, and autogas at popular stations remained at Tuesday's levels. This pattern — a brief sharp rise followed by a "freezing" of prices — is typical for periods when operators have already built the realized margin into the price and do not rush to adjust tariffs daily.
Premium chains and SOCAR's position
The day before, on September 22, the SOCAR chain significantly raised fuel prices, lifting the ceiling for premium gasoline NANO 100 and diesel NANO Extro to 104.00 UAH/l. As of September 23, the chain keeps all price tags unchanged, meaning the market's maximum prices are still set by SOCAR's premium brands. This means that the upper boundary of the price range on the Ukrainian market currently stands at 104.00 UAH/l for both gasoline and diesel in the premium segment.
"Ukrnafta" and basic grades
"Ukrnafta" also shows no movement on September 23. After the price increase of basic grades at the start of the week, when gasoline A-95 and A-92 each rose by 1 UAH, fuel prices in the chain are fixed for the current day and are not being adjusted. Thus, the basic grades, which historically form the "lower" and "middle" price corridor in the market, have also entered a waiting mode without daily reviews.
OKKO and WOG hold their positions
The OKKO and WOG chains, in turn, also hold their positions and do not adjust their prices. The price of A-95 Euro gasoline in these chains has stopped at 92.90 UAH/l, while diesel fuel costs 99.90 UAH/l. These values form the most affordable refueling segment for car owners and serve as a benchmark for comparison with competitors' premium offerings.
How much it costs to fill a 50-liter tank
A practical benchmark for drivers is the cost of filling a standard 50-liter tank, which depends significantly on the chosen chain. For A-95 gasoline, the difference between the cheapest and the most expensive refueling option is 300 UAH, and for diesel — 255 UAH. This means that choosing a specific gas station can save a driver up to three hundred hryvnias per refueling, which adds up to a noticeable amount over a month with regular trips.
Contradictory data
