Starting October 26, 2026, KFC restaurants in Ukraine are offering guests a new Asian menu called 'Say Hi to Asia', created in collaboration with the 'Kytayskyi Pryvit' restaurant chain by restaurateur Misha Katsurin. The lineup combines the brand's familiar formats — buckets, fries, and drinks — with Asian flavor accents: from steamed bao buns to fried milk dessert. Katsurin himself became the ambassador of the collaboration, demonstrating the creation process of the signature dessert in one of the videos.
Bao Burger and Chinese Rice: Key Menu Items
The central product of the novelty is the bao burger — a soft steamed bun filled with crispy chicken, fresh cucumbers, and signature sauce. The dish is available in two versions: classic and spicy. At the same time, Chinese rice with chicken and Asian sauces has appeared on the menu, as well as a line of buckets with regular or spicy strips, wings, and drumsticks. This set allows guests to build a combo tailored to different spice levels and texture preferences.
Sauces, Spices, and 'Tea Fries'
A separate block of the collaboration is the line of sauces: extra spicy, Szechuan, and mild chili, as well as the babadjan spice, which complements the main dishes. Among the unusual items are 'tea fries' and bubble tea, which expand KFC's standard lineup of drinks and sides. According to open publications, menu prices start from 45 hryvnias, while certain novelties, notably the fried milk dessert, cost over 200 hryvnias. Exact pricing may vary depending on the restaurant and the ordering method.
Fried Milk Dessert as a Signature Feature
One of the most discussed novelties is the 'fried milk' dessert — pieces with a crispy crust and tender milk filling, served in combination with an Asian sauce. Misha Katsurin personally starred in a video showing the stages of cooking this dish, which became part of the launch marketing campaign. According to the authors' vision, the dessert is meant to become as recognizable an element of KFC's Asian menu as fries are for the brand's classic lineup.
Context of Collaboration and Positioning
The partnership between KFC and 'Kytayskyi Pryvit' is a continuation of the trend toward cross-cultural gastronomic collaborations in Ukrainian fast food. Katsurin, known for his projects in the Asian cuisine segment, acted not only as a co-author of the menu but also as the public face of the campaign. The 'Say Hi to Asia' menu is now available in all KFC restaurants in Ukraine and via delivery services, and its elements — from bao burgers to fried milk — are positioned as a bridge between American fast food and Asian gastronomic tradition.
