As a result of recent massive shelling and damage to Ukraine's energy infrastructure facilities, serious power supply interruptions have been recorded in several regions of the country. According to official data from the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine as of September 29, 2026, a difficult situation has arisen in a number of oblasts simultaneously, where local residents were temporarily left without electricity due to the consequences of hostilities.

Part of the consumers in Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Donetsk, Sumy, and Kharkiv oblasts lost stable energy supplies. Consequences of Night Strikes on Southern Regions
An additional load on the country's general infrastructure was caused by night and morning strikes by Russian troops on Odesa and the Odesa region on September 29. As a result of the enemy attack, the production facilities of one of the enterprises were completely destroyed, and serious damage was also recorded to the port infrastructure, a lyceum building, and a city animal shelter. Emergency services are working at the scene, and there are casualties among the civilian population.
