On July 13, Ukraine will not be greeted by hot sunshine, but by rainy weather. According to a forecast from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, cited by RBC-Ukraine, precipitation is expected across almost the entire territory of the country. In some areas, forecasters are warning of thunderstorms.
Weather conditions in the regions
Despite the abundance of precipitation, air temperatures will remain high. During the day, thermometers will show up to +28°C. The sky will be variably cloudy. An exception will be the southeast of the country, where rain is not expected.
The wind will blow predominantly from the northwest at speeds of 5–10 m/s. However, residents of the eastern regions should be more cautious: strong gusts of wind reaching 15–20 m/s are possible there during the day.
Forecast for Kyiv
The capital of Ukraine will also fall under the influence of the rain front. Variable cloudiness is expected in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. Precipitation and local thunderstorm phenomena are not ruled out during the day, so residents and guests of the city are advised to have umbrellas with them.
Context: heat or comfort?
This forecast fits into the general picture of the coming days. Earlier, meteorologist Nataliya Dydenko reported the approach of warming. However, experts clarify that anomalous heat is not expected. Current weather conditions, despite the rain, remain within a comfortable range for most residents.
