Strikes on Moscow and the Black Sea: Zelenskyy Confirms Large-Scale Attacks on Russian Targets

Ukrainian Armed Forces have carried out large-scale strikes on Russian territory, affecting both the Moscow region and the Black Sea area. This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his official statement, cited by RBK-Ukraine. The attacks targeted critical enemy infrastructure, including logistics centers and energy facilities.

Strikes at a Depth of 400 Kilometers

Special attention in the head of state's statement was given to strikes on ground targets in the Moscow region. Ukrainian forces hit logistics facilities and a major oil depot. The distance from the Ukrainian border to these targets exceeded 400 kilometers, indicating a significant expansion of the operational radius and the ability to strike targets deep in the enemy's rear.

Events on the ground echo witness reports. Yesterday, a massive drone attack was recorded in Moscow and the Moscow region. Residents of the region reported a series of powerful explosions in various areas, as well as the outbreak of large fires, the smoke from which was visible for many kilometers.

Strikes on the "Shadow Fleet" in the Black Sea

In addition to ground operations, Ukrainian forces demonstrated activity at sea as well. During attacks on the enemy fleet in the Black Sea, six vessels were hit. The list of casualties includes two tankers belonging to the so-called "shadow fleet," which is used to bypass sanctions, as well as four cargo ships.

Response to Shelling and Pressure Strategy

Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that these actions are a direct response to the ongoing Russian shelling of Ukrainian cities and communities. The President noted that the war can only be ended by increasing pressure on Russia as the sole cause of the conflict.

The wave of explosions also did not spare Crimea. According to sources, the attack affected several strategic locations on the peninsula, where one of the important facilities caught fire. These events demonstrate that Ukrainian forces continue to strike on a broad front, using various types of weaponry to achieve strategic goals.
