Ukrainian director, music video maker, and photographer Tanya Muino has joined Apple's new advertising project, becoming the creator of the Night Moves spot dedicated to the camera capabilities of the iPhone 18 Pro. According to reports by WAVE (RBC-Ukraine), Muino announced this on her Instagram. The central compositional focus of the spot is night shooting and play with light and motion, which allows for a clear demonstration of how the smartphone handles complex lighting.

Night Light and Motion: How Apple Showcased the iPhone 18 Pro Camera

The Night Moves spot is built around night shooting and working with light and motion. It is precisely through these techniques that the creators reveal the key features of the new device's camera. Among the main specifications of the iPhone 18 Pro, Apple specifically highlights improved low-light shooting and a new sliding aperture on the main 48-megapixel camera. The advertising format thus turns into a technical demonstration: the viewer sees how the optics and algorithms cope with contrast, noise, and the dynamics of a night frame.

A Ukrainian Creative Team Behind the Scenes

Other representatives of the Ukrainian creative industry also took part in creating the advertising video. The project's cinematographer was Nikita Kuzmenko, and the lead role on screen was played by Ukrainian dancer Kateryna Byshova. Thus, beyond directing, an entire team of Ukrainian specialists participated in shaping the visual language of the spot, making the project a notable example of international recognition of domestic creative production.

Soundtrack and Musical Context of the Campaign

The soundtrack for the campaign was the track "DANCE" by American singer Slayyyter. The track is used in the new video, which is part of Apple's promotional campaign. The choice of energetic music logically reinforces the theme of movement and rhythm embedded in the spot's title, Night Moves, and in the dancer's choreography on screen.

The Path from Odesa to World Stages

Tanya Muino was born on December 7, 1989, in Odesa and spent her first years of life in Cuba. A notable part of her early career was her collaboration with Ukrainian artist MONATIK: the director shot more than a dozen video works for him, including music videos for the songs "Kruzhit," "Vitamin D," and "Love It Rhythm," as well as the musical "Rhythm." It was precisely this period that formed her recognizable visual signature, combining rhythmic choreography with a bright color palette.

International Portfolio and "Eurovision"

The director's international career received a new boost after working on Katy Perry's "Small Talk" music video in 2019. Later, Muino began collaborating with such global artists as Harry Styles, Lil Nas X, Cardi B, Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga, Jung Kook, Rosalia, Doja Cat, Post Malone, The Weeknd, Sam Smith, Lenny Kravitz, Elton John, and Britney Spears. In 2024, she became the choreographer for alyona alyona and Jerry Heil's performance at "Eurovision" in Malmö, where the Ukrainian duo took third place in the contest's final. Working on the advertising spot for Apple continues this trajectory — from music videos to large-scale corporate visual campaigns of world-class standing.
