The trend of growth has resumed in Ukraine's currency market. On the morning of July 28, banks raised the average selling rate of the US dollar by 10 kopecks, bringing it to 45.13 hryvnias. The situation in exchange offices developed similarly: the currency rate also showed positive dynamics, adding a few kopecks to previous values.

Exchange Rate Dynamics in Exchange Offices

According to data from the Minfin portal, on the morning of July 28, the average cost of the dollar in exchange points was 44.92 hryvnias for purchase (+4 kopecks) and 44.80 hryvnias for sale (+4 kopecks). The euro also showed growth: purchases are made at a rate of 51.40 hryvnias (+1 kopeck), and sales — at 51.20 hryvnias (+2 kopecks).

Rates in the Banking Sector

The banking sector reacted to market changes more noticeably. The average selling rate of the dollar in banks increased by 8 kopecks and reached 45.13 hryvnias. At the same time, the currency purchase rate was 44.61 hryvnias (+9 kopecks). The euro in banks became 10 kopecks more expensive when purchasing — up to 51.49 hryvnias, while the selling rate decreased by a kopeck to 50.75 hryvnias.

Rates of Leading Banks

Individual financial institutions demonstrate different rate dynamics depending on the sales channel (cash desk or online services):

  • PrivatBank: dollar sales in cash desks — 45.05 UAH (+6 kopecks), for cards — 45.04 UAH (no change). Euro in cash desks — 51.40 UAH (-10 kopecks), for cards — 51.54 UAH (no change).
  • Oschadbank: in the mobile app, the dollar costs 45.05 UAH (+6 kopecks), for cards — 45.15 UAH (+5 kopecks). Euro via the app — 51.40 UAH (no change), for cards — 51.55 UAH (no change).
  • PUMB: dollar rate in cash desks — 45.20 UAH (no change), for cards — 45.00 UAH (no change). Euro in branches — 51.70 UAH (no change).
  • Monobank: dollar — 45.03 UAH (no change), euro — 51.53 UAH (+8 kopecks).

Thus, purchasing 100 US dollars in various banks will cost from 4503 to 4520 hryvnias, depending on the chosen financial institution and exchange method.
