The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center has released a weather forecast for the next three days — Saturday, October 31, Sunday, November 1, and Monday, November 2, 2026. According to forecasters, the weekend in Ukraine will be mostly cloudy, with rain expected in certain regions. The beginning of the next working week, according to preliminary estimates, may bring certain synoptic changes, including a slight decrease in air temperature in a number of regions, including the capital.

Saturday, October 31: Cloudy, No Significant Precipitation

On Saturday, October 31, the weather in Ukraine will be cloudy. The wind is expected to be northwesterly, and in the eastern regions, southeasterly, at 5–10 m/s. No significant precipitation is forecasted for the country as a whole on this day, making Saturday a relatively calm day weather-wise. Such conditions are typical for the transitional period of late October, when atmospheric fronts alternate with precipitation-free periods.

Sunday, November 1: Rain in Certain Regions

On Sunday, November 1, the picture will change: light to moderate rain is likely in certain regions of Ukraine. In the rest of the country, the weather will remain mostly dry. Forecasters note that the precipitation will be local, so residents of different regions should consult updated regional forecasts before heading out.

Monday, November 2: Mostly Dry

On Monday, November 2, dry weather will prevail across Ukraine. This means the start of the new working week will pass under relatively dry conditions. At the same time, as the Ukrhydrometeorological Center notes, certain synoptic changes associated with the movement of air masses and a slight correction of the temperature background are possible at the beginning of the working week.

Forecast for Kyiv: Slight Temperature Drop

Cloudy weather is forecasted for the Kyiv region and the city of Kyiv on October 31. On November 1, the air temperature in the capital will drop slightly: at night, thermometer columns may show around +6 °C on average, and during the day the air will warm up insignificantly to +8 °C. At the start of the new working week, on November 2, +6 °C is expected at night, and up to +9 °C during the day. Thus, cool weather will persist in Kyiv, but without sharp temperature fluctuations.

Context: What to Prepare for in November and Winter

Earlier, the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center published a preliminary weather forecast for Ukraine for November and winter, and also explained what November is generally like in the country. The current three-day forecast fits into the overall picture of a cool and changeable late autumn, when the alternation of cloudy and rainy periods gives way to relatively dry days without precipitation.
