Ukrainians on Thursday, July 16, will be able to enjoy truly summer weather. According to forecasts, significant precipitation is unlikely on this day, and thermometers will show comfortable indicators for relaxation. Although temperatures may vary slightly in different regions of the country, the overall picture will be warm and sunny.
Peak of summer and mood
Meteorologist and synoptic Natalka Didenko, commenting on the current situation on Facebook, noted that we are currently at the peak of the summer season. The expert compared the current moment with the famous phrase about a glass of water: for some, it is a reason to be sad that half of the summer is already over, for others — joy that half is still ahead. According to the meteorologist, it is now the ideal time to “stand in sundresses and smell flowers”.
Forecast for Kyiv
The meteorologist paid special attention to the weather in the capital. According to data from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center (UkrGMC), very warm weather is expected in Kyiv on July 16. At night, the mercury columns will not drop below +21°C, which is even warmer than in previous nights. During the day, the heat will persist, allowing residents to comfortably spend time outdoors.
What to wear in the heat
Didenko gave a stylistic advice corresponding to the meteorological forecast. She urged Ukrainians to take advantage of the warmth and change into light clothing. It is worth returning light dresses, trousers, as well as items with straps to the wardrobe. Ideal materials for such weather will be linen, batiste and silk. The meteorologist also advised choosing bright colors to match the mood of summer, which, according to her, “is celebrating its coming of age”.
Thus, on July 16 in Ukraine, no sudden deterioration of the weather should be expected, and residents of the country will be able to spend the day in the warmth, enjoying the sun and the absence of rain.
