On July 27, the weather in Ukraine will be a true test of contrasts. While some regions of the country will be battling downpours and thunderstorm fronts, others will face heat approaching three dozen degrees. Meteorologists at the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center have already warned of a sharp division of meteorological conditions across the country.

Thunderstorms and Gusts in the West

Forecasts for the western regions require special attention. This is where the most active bad weather is expected during the day. Meteorologists warn of the passage of rain fronts accompanied by thunderstorms. The situation may worsen in certain areas where the probability of hail remains high.

In addition, meteorologists are noting a risk of wind intensification. It is expected that gusts will reach speeds of 15–20 meters per second. Residents and guests of these regions are advised to exercise caution, avoid being under trees and advertising structures during peak hours of bad weather activity.

Heat in the Center and North

While it will be wet and windy in the west, no precipitation is expected in the rest of Ukraine. Instead of rain, residents of the central and northern regions will face significant warming. According to the forecast, it is in these regions that the air temperature will reach its maximum.

Thermometers in the northern and central regions may show between 28 and 30 degrees Celsius. The lack of cloud cover and precipitation in these areas will intensify the feeling of scorching heat, so experts recommend drinking more fluids and trying to stay in the shade during the hottest hours of the day.

Magnetic Storms and Well-being

In addition to sharp fluctuations in temperature and atmospheric pressure, the meteorological situation at the end of July remains unstable. Earlier this week, meteorologists already warned of the possibility of magnetic storms. Combined with the contrasting weather, this could negatively affect the well-being of weather-sensitive people, so it is worth taking care of your health in advance and maintaining a sleep schedule.
