Famous Ukrainian musician, frontman of the band O.Torvald, Zhenya Galich has officially announced that he is no longer an active serviceman. In an interview with the project 'Alone with Glamour', published by RBC-Ukraine, the artist detailed the reasons for his discharge and his future plans.

Reason for Discharge: Health Issues

The decision to leave was not made immediately. According to Galich, after his last combat missions, he faced serious health problems that required long-term treatment. The musician spent almost four months in the hospital, after which he began undergoing numerous medical examinations.

"Unfortunately, I was discharged due to health reasons. It turned out that after our last missions, I could not actively participate in combat operations and spent a significant amount of time in the hospital. It was almost four months," the artist explained.

The decision-making process dragged on for nine months. During this time, the musician underwent examinations, hesitated, and deliberated, but in the end, the doctors and command decided to discharge him from service.

New Tasks: Helping Veterans and Music

Despite the change in status, Zhenya Galich does not intend to withdraw from public life. Together with his comrades from the 135th Battalion, he continues to support veterans, active servicemen, and their families.

Parallel to his humanitarian activities, the artist is actively returning to his creative work. In August, a new album by the band O.Torvald is expected, as well as the release of Galich's solo project.

"In August, we will be recording a new album. And I am focusing more on my solo project, performing a lot as a solo artist. And in August, my solo album will be released. So, there is a lot of work," the musician shared.
