#Autumn Forecast

On October 3, 2026, Ukraine faces dry weather with a significant contrast between nighttime frosts of down to -3 degrees and daytime warmth of up to +19 degrees.

Forecaster Natalya Didenko reported that through September 10, 2026, the weather in Ukraine is determined by an anticyclone with sun and warming, which she called a "young Indian summer." Meanwhile, the UkrGMC clarified that there is no official term "Indian summer" in meteorology, and that meteorological autumn had not yet arrived as of September 7.

Natalia Ptukha, Head of the Media Relations Department of the UHMC, said that on September 5–6 an atmospheric front will bring rain, thunderstorms, and wind gusts up to 20 m/s, while temperatures will drop noticeably.

UHMC forecaster Ivan Semylit warned that the first days of autumn in Ukraine will be contrasting: a cold front will bring rain with thunderstorms, while heat of up to +30°C will be maintained in the south and southeast.
