Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has introduced differentiated alerting about aerial threats: the “yellow” level means a drone hazard and allows businesses to operate provided shelters are available. We break down the new alert rules.

As of 6:00 a.m. on September 6, Kyiv introduced alerts by type of air threat: notifications now specify the concrete type and level of danger. The new system is not yet in effect in the Pechersk district.

Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has split air raid alerts into levels: during a yellow alert, business can operate without shelters, the metro can run in full, and a curfew from 01:00 to 05:00 will be introduced within a one-week period.

Air Tanzania suspended Moscow–Dar es Salaam flights from 4 September amid warnings of a threat to civilian aviation in Russian airspace. Passengers are promised refunds.
