#Energy Outage

Following a nighttime Russian attack, energy workers have restored power to most consumers in the Dnipropetrovsk region, but emergency shutdowns were introduced in Dnipro due to grid overload. Tens of thousands of subscribers remain without electricity.

KP «Chernivtsivodokanal» has developed four operational scenarios for blackouts of varying duration. For outages lasting 7–14 days, supply schedules and water delivery are possible, while 22 booster stations are being prepared to run on backup power.

On October 18, critical infrastructure facilities in the Vinnytsia region were damaged by a Russian air attack. Emergency power outages have been introduced in the region, and repair crews are restoring power.

Acting Mayor of Rivne Viktor Shakirzyan spoke about the intensification of Russian attacks in mid-October: a university building was destroyed, over 15,000 families in the district lost power, schools switched to a blended format, and the city is preparing 12 "points of indestructibility" for a critical situation.

On the night of September 3, explosions rocked Ternopil following a jet drone threat. The Air Force recorded UAVs over the region and Khmelnytskyi Oblast; there were no deaths, but power outages occurred.

On August 25, Chernihiv was massively attacked by Russian drones: according to preliminary data, two people were injured, and a strike on an energy facility left more than 30,000 customers without power in the district and Slavutych.

On the night of August 20, Russia launched a massive missile and drone strike, with Kyiv Oblast as the main target. Air defense reported hundreds of targets shot down, but strikes were confirmed at 28 locations, and thousands of homes in Kyiv were left without power.

Russia's overnight ballistic attack on Kyiv killed eight people, with 33 more injured. Firefighters are extinguishing fires in three districts, a children's hospital was damaged, a man was killed in Brovary, and several districts are without power.

⚡️ On August 7, 2026, emergency power outages occurred in Kyiv in Obolon and Podil due to repair work. Restoration is expected by 19:59. Against the backdrop of abnormal heat, the load on the networks increased by 1 GW.
