#Hybrid Threat

Poland has deployed a preventive special operation on the border with Kaliningrad Oblast following allied warnings of sabotage risks. Police, counter-terrorism units, and special services have been involved.

French Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez declared a real and documented hybrid threat from Russia, citing drone flights near European airports and cyberattacks.

In Lower Saxony, near Hanover, debris from an unknown drone was found a kilometer from the Bundeswehr air base in Wunstorf. The LKA launched a large-scale operation; the origin of the UAV is being established.

After the attack on the Ukrainian An-124 at Leipzig/Halle Airport, a third drone and traces of a hexogen-based explosive mixture were found in Germany. The prosecutor's office refuses to comment.

Germany has opened a drone defense research center in Kochstedt following an incident involving explosives at Leipzig Airport. Minister Dobrindt called this a step against the hybrid threat.

🚨 On the night of August 11, 2026, an unknown drone was spotted at Hannover Airport, which police chased for two hours. The runway was periodically closed. Detectors did not register the UAV — it may not be a commercial model. There is a theory linking it to the An-124 attack in Leipzig. 🔍🛑 #Germany #Airport #Drone #Security
