Indian summer arrives in Ukraine on September 26: rains recede, dry weather sets in with variable cloudiness and a gradual temperature increase.

A real Indian summer is coming to Ukraine: on the weekend of September 26-27, warming up to +22 degrees, sun, and no precipitation are expected.

On September 16, an anticyclone will establish itself over Ukraine: according to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, warm dry weather is expected — 6–12 degrees at night and 20–25 degrees during the day. Forecasters predict a sharp cooling with rain from September 21.

On September 16, Ukraine is expected to enjoy a comfortable Indian summer with temperatures up to +26°C in the west and around +23°C in Kyiv. However, from September 21 forecasters predict a sharp cold snap to +10...+17°C and heavier rain.

On Wednesday, September 9, an anticyclone will settle over Ukraine: no rain is expected, and warm air will arrive from the south. The maximum will be 23–28 degrees in the west, cooler in the east. Meteorologists ask not to believe rumors of +33.

Forecaster Natalya Didenko reported that through September 10, 2026, the weather in Ukraine is determined by an anticyclone with sun and warming, which she called a "young Indian summer." Meanwhile, the UkrGMC clarified that there is no official term "Indian summer" in meteorology, and that meteorological autumn had not yet arrived as of September 7.
