Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev stated that Armenia's course toward rapprochement with the EU and the West could cause it to repeat Ukraine's fate.

In the approved government program of Armenia for 2026–2031, Russia no longer appears as a strategic ally. Pashinyan linked this to the CSTO and Moscow's failure to fulfill security obligations.

Pashinyan announced in parliament that Armenia will submit its EU accession application in the near future. The referendum will take place after the road map is agreed with Brussels.

Nikol Pashinyan has officially resigned, but this is merely a technical step before re-election. Following an election victory and pressure from the Kremlin, the Armenian leader is preparing a 'purge' of the opposition and the formation of a new government. 🇦🇲🗳️
