#Ukraine Support Loan

The European Commission has approved Ukraine's purchase of Patriot missiles under a €90 billion loan program. The new €3.2 billion tranche is intended to strengthen air defense ahead of the autumn–winter period.

Paris is pushing for the exemptions on Ukrainian weapons purchases outside the EU to remain temporary, while nine Northern and Eastern European countries demand maximum freedom of procurement for Kyiv.

Ukraine has received €3.47 billion from the EU for defense and the budget. Prime Minister Kretsky confirmed the receipt of funds under the Ukraine Support Loan program. Meanwhile, the IMF has tightened requirements for reforms, insisting on tariff and tax increases. 🇺🇦💶📉
