Not deregister, but prove: Lawyer explains how pensioners can get a subsidy if children are registered but do not live at home
🇺🇦 **Pensioners do not have to deregister children to receive a subsidy**
Many elderly people fear that the registration of adult children living separately will deprive them of the right to a housing subsidy. Lawyer Ruslan Ruzhytskyi clarified the situation:
✅ The subsidy is appointed for those who **actually reside** in the housing.
✅ Deregistration of children is not mandatory.
✅ It is enough to provide documents confirming that the children live in another city or abroad (certificates of work, study, stay abroad).
The main thing is to confirm the actual non-residence of children at the place of registration. 📝
