This year the holiday falls on a Monday, but there will be no day off due to martial law. 📉 According to legislation, norms regarding holidays do not apply. 💰 However, certain categories of citizens will receive one-time financial aid from 450 to 3100 UAH. 📅 Martial law has been extended until the end of August by a decree dated July 13, 2026.

🚨 Mykolaiv court delivers harsh sentence: 7 years and 8 months in prison for 13 chocolate bars. 🍫 The Inhulskyi District Court found a local resident guilty of robbery under martial law. The defendant attempted to steal chocolate worth 1,476 UAH at an "Aurora" store. ⚖️ The defense asked to reclassify the case as theft, but the court pointed out the openness of the actions after the store employee's demand.
