Meanwhile, the UkrGMC clarified that there is no official term "Indian summer" in meteorology, and that meteorological autumn had not yet arrived as of September 7.

On August 19, 2026, an atmospheric front will cover Ukraine with thunderstorms, hail, and gusty winds. Cooling is expected in the west of the country to +25°C, while heat up to +33°C will persist in other regions.
