A Russian drone hit a freight car near the platform in the Lozovskyi district of Kharkiv Oblast, where an electric train for evacuation was standing. Two women were killed, five people were injured, including an 11-year-old girl in critical condition.

On August 20, a day of mourning was declared in Zhytomyr for those killed in the strike on the National Police building. The third victim died overnight, and a morning shelling of warehouses injured a civilian builder.

Russian occupiers struck Zhytomyr with jet drones, hitting the National Police building. On the night of August 19, air defense shot down 56 targets, but hits were recorded in ten locations.
