On September 8, a “Shahed” strike drone entered Moldovan airspace from the Ukrainian side. Authorities temporarily closed the central part of the sky; according to several media reports, the drone also crossed the Romanian border.

Energy Minister Denys Shmygal stated that Ukraine's fuel market fully covers demand and that reserves are sufficient. At the same time, fuel station networks raised prices on gasoline, diesel, and gas by an average of one hryvnia per liter.

On the night of September 1, Russian Shahed drones attacked the Orlovka ferry checkpoint on the Romanian border: hits on the building were recorded, fires were contained, processing was suspended, and traffic is being redirected. The SBGSU notes that this is not the first strike on the facility.

Ukrainian tourists have restructured their usual routes over the years of war: according to Join UP!, Chisinau became the leader in departures with more than 237,000 passengers, while Rzeszów followed with 50,000.
