A paw print marker has appeared in the Ukrzaliznytsia mobile app: now, before buying a ticket, you can see where in the carriage a passenger with a pet is traveling. The function is already working, but not on all routes.

Following an overnight ballistic missile attack on Kyiv and the oblast, Ukrzaliznytsia changed the routes of suburban and regional trains in Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts on August 20, and delayed two services in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

🚆 'Ukrzaliznytsia' has updated safety rules for passengers in 2026. A clear 5-step action algorithm is now in effect for conflicts on trains: from using 'panic buttons' to calling the police at the station. 🔹 Cameras and help call buttons have been installed in new carriages. 🔹 Passengers are advised to record violations on camera. 🔹 The dispatcher has the right to stop the train to call the police. ⚠️ Important: only 15% of carriages are currently equipped with modern systems.
