🇭🇺 Hungary has launched an emergency operation to save the Paks NPP from shutdown due to drought. Authorities have sunk barges in the Danube and are building an underwater barrier to raise the water level. The plant is operating at only 25% capacity. A complete shutdown would cost the economy $159 million per month. Prime Minister Magyar has cast doubt on the Paks II project with Russia. 🇪🇺 The crisis has engulfed all of Europe: Romania and France have also shut down reactors.
