On the morning of September 28, 2026, Kyiv faced a massive drone attack. Gas stations, a cafe, and the NAS building were hit, resulting in casualties and injuries.

On the evening of 19 September, Russian forces struck Dnipro, hitting the 'New Continent' shopping mall. Three people were hospitalized, and residential buildings and warehouses were damaged. The attack continued a series of strikes on retail facilities.

Russian occupiers struck the warehouse of pharmaceutical distributor "BaDM" in Odesa; the resulting fire left no casualties. Earlier, on September 13, missiles destroyed the sorting center of the EVA chain, which supplied three oblasts.

Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the President's Office, stated that settlement negotiations may resume in late September, but the real conditions for a ceasefire will not take shape before spring.

Ukrainian President’s advisor Serhiy Beskrestnov stated that there will be no famine or fuel shortage in winter, but strikes on the energy sector will lead to power and heating outages. He urged people to buy generators and power banks in advance.
