A YouControl study of SBU materials from 2020–2026 showed that Russia obtains data on Ukraine's defense-industrial complex primarily through agents and spotters, not through open registries.

The Ministry of Defence has completed its review of the critical status of DIC enterprises: 86% of companies retained the right to protect their workers, while 14% can restore their status by submitting the full set of documents.

Ukraine's Ambassador to Turkey, Nariman Jelyal, stated that Ankara is interested in defense-industrial cooperation with Kyiv but is approaching it cautiously against the backdrop of the dynamic growth of its own defense-industrial complex over the past 10–15 years.
