#Ukraine Peace Talks

The Financial Times reports that the US has proposed including Russian assets frozen in Europe in a Ukraine peace agreement, transferring a portion to a fund controlled by Washington. Europe has rejected the plan.

India has expressed readiness to mediate in Ukraine peace talks for the first time, presenting a major peace initiative. Kyiv considers a comprehensive truce.

Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the President's Office, stated that a new round of peace negotiations in a trilateral format is being prepared for October 2026. He did not specify the meeting location.

The head of HUR, Kyrylo Budanova, confirmed that on September 6 in Kyiv Zelenskyy is holding talks with US envoys Witkoff and Kushner, as well as with representatives of France, the United Kingdom and Germany.

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Sibiga announced an imminent new impetus to peace efforts from Kyiv and its allies, including the US. The minister confirmed continuous contact with the American negotiating team and urged the public to watch for a 'new dynamic' in diplomacy.
