From October 1, 2026, JSC "Ukreksimbank" stops paying pensions and social benefits to cards. For those who do not change their details, the Pension Fund will route the funds through Ukrposhta.

In the draft state budget for 2027, the expenditures of the Pension Fund of Ukraine are planned at 1,278.8 billion hryvnias — a growth of more than 200 billion hryvnias. A transfer of 292.8 billion hryvnias will be directed from the budget toward pension top-ups.

Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers is drafting a bill guaranteeing that a pensioner retains at least the subsistence minimum (2,595 UAH) of their pension after debt collection. The debt itself is preserved.
