Ukraine has created prototypes of an autonomous protection system for armored vehicles against drones after two years of development. Volodymyr Zelenskyy has officially appointed Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi as the new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 🇺🇦 Drapatyi replaces Oleksandr Syrskyi against the backdrop of protests in Kyiv demanding personnel changes in the defense ministry. The new commander is set to lead the army, bringing experience in commanding key military groupings.

The new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykhailo Drapaty, appointed General Ihor Skibiuk to the post of Chief of the General Staff. The army leader called Skibiuk a tested commander with whom they jointly liberated the Kherson region in 2022. 🇺🇦🪖
