From September 10, Kyiv shortens the curfew to 01:00–05:00, introduces differentiated metro operation and allows businesses to function during "yellow" alerts. The decision was made due to the new tactics of Russian UAV attacks.

Kyiv will temporarily ban entertainment and sports events at open-air venues without shelters. From 10 September, the curfew will be shortened and the metro's operation under different threat levels will be revised.

Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has split air raid alerts into levels: during a yellow alert, business can operate without shelters, the metro can run in full, and a curfew from 01:00 to 05:00 will be introduced within a one-week period.

From September 3, a temporary bus No. 1M will launch in Kiev along the 'Sports Palace — Lesnaya Metro Station' route. The measure is intended to partially compensate for the surface section of the red metro line, which has been suspended due to daily air-raid alerts.

The Kyiv Council of Defense appealed to the government with a proposal to change security protocols: ease the curfew and open traffic on bridges and the metro during air raid alerts.

A petition has been registered in Kyiv proposing to establish dual-purpose municipal underground parking facilities near metro stations on the Left Bank. The initiator believes such facilities would relieve the load on the bridges and serve as shelters.
