The Ukrainian government will automatically calculate August allowances for IDPs who missed out due to the September decree extending IDP assistance. No applications need to be submitted.

The Rada Budget Committee included in the Cabinet's instructions an increase in IDP assistance by 1,000 hryvnias from January 1, 2027. The amendments also expand the circle of recipients and abolish the requirement for in-person education for children. October payments will be funded on October 21.

IDP housing assistance continues to be paid on the 15th and 28th: 3,000 hryvnias to children and persons with disabilities, 2,000 — to others. Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 709 has strengthened control: in case of data discrepancies in the registers, payments are automatically suspended.

Living assistance for IDPs is transferred twice a month — on the 15th and the 28th. A delay is most often technical, but it is important to check the bank details, the crediting status, and the criteria for retaining the payment.

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a program providing for the launch of a housing registry for IDPs in 2027. The document also includes plans for the integration of displaced persons and budget equalization reform.
