Contra-Drone co-founder Tymofiy Yurkov explained how electronic warfare diverts real and fake drones without physically destroying them, and why the economics of war must remain in Ukraine's favor.

According to the co-founder of Contra-Drone, Russia is increasing the use of fiber-optic drones, purchasing 20-channel CRPA antennas in China for Shaheds, and developing AI terminal guidance for FPV drones, thereby complicating the work of Ukrainian EW.

Tymofiy Yurkov, co-founder of Contra-Drone, explained why ballistic missiles and guided bombs are significantly harder to suppress with electronic warfare systems than ordinary drones: flight altitude, mass launches, and a larger explosive mass reduce the effectiveness of countermeasures.
