Ukraine must outpace Russia's technological developments and create interceptors capable of neutralizing two generations of new 'Geran' strike drones at once, political scientist Mykola Davidyuk stated.

The GUR of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence published a list of 20 machine tools and robots from Germany, Switzerland, Japan, China and Iran that, according to intelligence, are used to produce 'Geran' drones in the 'Alabuga' SEZ. Intelligence called on equipment manufacturers to introduce on-site end-user inspections.

Russia has shifted to the mass deployment of jet-powered drones 'Geran-4' and 'Geran-5' with speeds up to 600 km/h. Their interception effectiveness is only about 60%, compared to 90% for classic 'Shaheds'. Ukraine is searching for new solutions.

In September, Russia plans to produce around 2,000 jet-powered 'Geran' drones, betting on the 'Geran-4' and 'Geran-5.' The main constraint remains the shortage of Chinese Telefly engines.

🚀 **Jet Escalation**: Russia switches to high-speed drones In August 2026, the tactics of Russian strikes are changing. Moscow is increasing the use of jet "Geran" drones and "Banderoles" drone-missiles to break Ukrainian air defense. 🔹 **Why this is dangerous**: High speed reduces the time for interception. Classic "Shaheds" are becoming less effective. 🔹 **Russia's problems**: Complexity of engine production and dependence on Chinese supplies. 🔹 **Experts**: The term "jet drone" is blurring; new models are approaching cruise missiles. #Ukraine #AirDefense #Geran #Banderoles #War2026

📡 Satellite monitoring has recorded a massive expansion of the Tsimbulova droneport in the Oryol region. The base has deployed 23 launchers and accumulated over 100 UAVs, including the latest jet modifications of the "Geran-5". The facility is equipped with solar panels for autonomous operation. #Oryol #UAV #MilitaryIntelligence

⚠️ Russia prepares massive strike: 11,000 drones in August. GUR: focus on turbojet "Gerans", but there is dependence on China. 🇺🇦🇷🇺 #Ukraine #War #Drones
