The GUR of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence published a list of 20 machine tools and robots from Germany, Switzerland, Japan, China and Iran that, according to intelligence, are used to produce 'Geran' drones in the 'Alabuga' SEZ. Intelligence called on equipment manufacturers to introduce on-site end-user inspections.

Russia has shifted to the mass deployment of jet-powered drones 'Geran-4' and 'Geran-5' with speeds up to 600 km/h. Their interception effectiveness is only about 60%, compared to 90% for classic 'Shaheds'. Ukraine is searching for new solutions.

In September, Russia plans to produce around 2,000 jet-powered 'Geran' drones, betting on the 'Geran-4' and 'Geran-5.' The main constraint remains the shortage of Chinese Telefly engines.
